For the last ten years Cameo and Brooks have been fishing, hiking, camping, hunting, surfing, snorkeling, berry picking, beach firing, midnight kayaking and exploring in and around Sitka. They are excited to share all the experiences that make Southeast Alaska an endless mesmerizing playground with you.
CAMEO PADILLA
Cameo grew up in Sitka in a commercial fishing family. She spent her summers on the F/V Dos Ninas trolling for salmon with her father and sister. She became an expert back deck aquarium builder by the age of 10 and also managed to learn a thing or two about fishing and navigating on the outer coast. She has continued to work in the fishing industry as an advocate for wild Alaska fisheries and fishermen. Cameo loves to dance, try new recipes and meticulously plan for activities.

BROOKS ARESON
Brooks grew up in Brunswick, Maine and spent his early years fishing, thinking about fishing and strategizing ways to procure bigger and better fishing boats. After dutifully fulfilling his mother’s wishes for a higher education, he moved to Sitka to fish some more. Brooks has been guiding freshwater and saltwater excursions around Sitka for 18 years. He has a propensity for bad dressing, funk music, podcasts and, you guessed it, fishing.
