ABOUT THE NEW VESSEL

There’s a new Equinox! The new Equinox is a custom built 65ft steel expedition yacht with a four stateroom, three head layout. Equinox features a roomy salon and wheelhouse ideal for sipping an early morning coffee or a mid afternoon drink while watching the scenery pass you by. The walkaround deck allows easy access to the aft deck, swimstep and boarding ladder while the upper deck, off the wheelhouse, has an electric winch for pulling crab and shrimp pots as well as a comfortable outdoor seating area.

Equipped with a skiff, pot hauler, kayaks, paddleboards, crab pots, shrimp pots, a commercial grade vacuum packer, deep freezer, down riggers, and enough fishing gear to last several lifetimes, we are ready to find it, see it, experience it, catch it, clean it, and send it home with you.

Our 23’ excursion vessel, Ecliptic, accompanies the Equinox and allows quick access to more inaccessible places. Outfitted for fishing, crabbing, shrimping, and sightseeing it’s a unique bonus to your private cruise.

CARBON OFFSET

For the foreseeable future, fossil fuels are an essential component in our operation. Recognizing climate change as a threat to the natural environment upon which we rely, Equinox purchases carbon offsets through the Sitka Carbon Offset fund for fossil fuels burned during our charters.
